Over the course of 40 years we have developed and expanded various industrial units for wood, upholstery, metal, plastic and foam, becoming the largest corporate group in Portugal and a world leader.
We are a Group sustained only by domestic capital and strengthened by a large team of 1100 people. Our corporate culture and evolution have transformed us into one of the country’s largest employers in the furniture sector.
We are one of the oldest furniture companies in Portugal. Four decades have enriched us with incomparable experience and know-how. Our familial and ambitious character has allowed us to grow exponentially and has helped us preserve our identity.
With approximately 200,000 m2 of covered area, the Group boasts several facilities that are constantly expanding. Our ambition is to contribute to a sustainable and integrated industry that ranges from production of raw materials and components to the manufacture of our main products: furniture, sofas and mattresses.
Production of Lourini furniture and sofas and Lusocolchão mattresses are our main areas of know-how and competence and we offer a vast range of products that you can find out more about on our website or in our showroom that boasts an area of over 2.500m2. We offer 360o service of excellence, from design to delivery, with a sales team that is always at your service to offer solutions.
In addition to producing furniture, sofas (Lourini brand) and mattresses (Lusocolchão brand), we also produce raw materials and components that are incorporated into the company’s end products. This is the case with wood cutting, metalwork and metal components (LOMM), production and recycling of plastic (Sanplax), and production of Bonnell springs and pocket springs for mattresses. We are also a pioneering mattress manufacturing company who is the first to produce its own foam, thus having created the Topfoam brand.
In Portugal, J.J.Louro Pereira Group is a leader in producing and marketing furniture, especially in the retail sector, but also in the hotel industry, contract sector, and public and private companies and entities. Our work is not only limited to Portugal, seeing as some 40% of our production is exported to countries all over the world.
