J.J. Louro Group was chosen to equip the studios and suites of the U.Hub university residence for Xior, in Lumiar, Lisbon.
Transversal pieces were developed for all the areas of operation of this operator, which already has five residences and 2000 rooms.
In a project of architecture by PGA (Paulo da Gama Arquitectos) and interiors by Deslink Design, the brand designed an innovative concept for this type of equipment, which includes cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes, tapis, mattresses, pillows, upholstered headboards and articulated beds for the rooms 100% adapted to students with reduced mobility.
The partnership with U.Hub, which designs, develops and implements the residences for Xior Student Housing, a Belgian real estate company, leader in the student accommodation sector in countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal, began in 2015. Since then, the residences in Asprela, in Porto, and those in Alameda, Benfica, Alvalade and now Lumiar, in Lisbon, have been equipped.
At a time when there is a shortage of student accommodation, the J.J. Louro Group is proud to contribute to equipping university residences throughout the country with its furniture and rest solutions.
For 2024 another residence is planned to open in Porto, near Av. da Boavista, and the project is already under development.
