In an emotional atmosphere, a ceremony was held to thank and present a memento to the J.J. Louro Group’s Employees who have retired in recent months.
In the auditorium of the Group’s head office, in Amiais de Cima, former employees, from different companies, but with a common experience of more than two decades of dedication to “the house”, gathered together.
Welcomed by the Board of Directors and by the Human Resources Development Department (HRDD), the former employees shared some of the stories that indelibly marked their time with the Group, and received praise and thanks for the years of work and dedication, as well as good health wishes and good luck for the new stage of life they are now starting.
After the ceremony, the former Employees paid a visit to the Showroom, where they could see many of the items they helped to produce on display.
The tribute paid to retiring Employees is a joint initiative of the Board of Directors and the Human Resources Department, which reflects the Group’s philosophy of valuing each stage of Employees’ professional life.
“We are now a company of over 40 years, and it is normal for some of our older Employees to reach retirement age. Some leave, other new ones join. It is a sign of renewal and strength to continue for many more years”, stated the Board of Directors.
