New cover at plastics and foams unit in Torres Novas

The asbestos cement roofing of the plastics and foams unit in Torres Novas was replaced by sandwich panels. The requalification of this infrastructure, in a total area of about 12 thousand m2, was carried out by Miraterra and also included the replacement of concrete purlins with metal purlins and the replacement or repair of damaged gutters.

With high quality standards, the sandwich panel improves safety, health and working conditions for employees. It also enables greater energy efficiency of the building, both due to its isothermal characteristics and because it now covers the ceiling in white, with greater light reflection.
