The new Chão das Pias viewpoint, on the road between Serro Ventoso and São Bento, in Porto de Mós, is another Miraterra project.
The requalification of this space, located in Aire and Candeeiros Mountains Natural Park, included the construction of a balcony installed at an altitude of more than 400 meters, a wooden walkway which culminates in a balcony overlooking the cliff, native stone walls and a concrete structure.
Miraterra was also responsible for the delineation of the parking area, with the application of sidewalks, the landscape requalification of the space, with the introduction of several plants and trees, and the inclusion of resting places, with stone tables and benches.
The requalification of the viewpoint is part of a larger project of the Municipality of Porto de Mós which aims to boost tourism in this region with undeniable natural beauty marked by the Estremadura Limestone Massif and the fertile watershed of the Lis River.
