Miraterra was responsible for renovating the playgrounds at Jardim Portas do Sol, Avenida Marquês de Pombal/Praceta José Pereira Rodrigues (in São Domingos) and Jardim de Infância da Anacoreta, also in São Domingos.
Miraterra’s interventions, all in Santarém City Council, came about in response to the need to resolve the generalised deterioration of the equipment and the synthetic impact damping surfaces, which were already posing a safety risk to users.In addition to improving the construction solutions of the surfaces, with new finishes and better rain drainage, Miraterra also replaced degraded equipment and introduced new equipment to increase the range of activities on offer and the attractiveness of these spaces.The public tender was launched by the Municipality of Santarém, which, at the inauguration of the spaces on 5 April, pledged to intervene in all the play and recreational spaces in the municipality that need work.
