The Health and Well-Being Month initiative was back at the J.J. Louro Group throughout the month of May.
Conceived by the Department of Human Resources Development (DDRH), with the support of the Board of Directors, the action had, after the success of 2022, its second edition.
This year, partners from a wide range of areas were once again involved, with activities that allowed employees to take care of their body and mind and encourage healthy living habits.
Always with health as a priority, activities were developed such as physical condition assessment, nutrition consultations and advice on diet, massages, various screenings and gymnastics at work, which took place in all the Group’s Production Units.
Health and Well-being Month also included sending out regular useful communications on health and well-being to employees, ranging from information on burnout to tips on healthy eating, as well as information on the partnerships and protocols established between the Group and various companies with special benefits for J.J. Louro employees.
The initiative was once again a success, thanks to the active participation of all the employees, the precious help of the partner entities involved: CUF Santarém Hospital and Hospital da Luz de Oiã; Brancóptica and OutroOlhar opticians; Denticare and Saúde Valente dental clinics; ETPR and IPSantarém educational institutions; the companies that manage the Group’s canteens, NAREST and GERTAL; and Casa da Amieira. And, of course, with the invaluable contribution of all the internal departments involved: DDRH, Department of Environment and Safety at Work (DAST), and Communication.
The Health and Well-being Month will be replicated in the coming years, always in the month of May.
