On March 3rd, Grupo J.J. Louro welcomed around 30 students and teachers from the Sá da Bandeira School Group, representing the study areas of Automation, Electronics and Computers, Informatics, and Renewable Energies.
The visit began in the J.J. Louro Auditorium and included tours of the Furniture Unit and the Upholstery Unit, where participants were able to closely observe production processes, automation solutions, and the integration of robots and industrial machines in a real industrial environment.
This activity was part of the Educational Programme of the Municipality of Santarém for the 2025/2026 school year, under the municipal initiative “Educational Resources Offer”, which promotes contact between young people and learning experiences outside the school environment.
The initiative reinforces Grupo J.J. Louro’s commitment to knowledge sharing, close collaboration with the education sector, and the development of future generations of professionals in the industrial sector.
