Loja dos Afetos will be back at J.J. Louro on September 29th and following Wednesdays. Between 12h00 and 13h30 it is possible to buy clothing, shoes and toys, new or used, in the stall set up in the space between the factory and the canteen.
This is a way of bringing to J.J. Louro’s employees a part of what they can find in the physical store, in Amieiros street, Amiais de Cima, arousing their curiosity for a visit to the space.
Loja dos Afetos is a social store of the Abrã’s Santa Margarida Parish and Social Center (CSPSMA), a Private Institution of Social Solidarity created by commendator Joaquim José Louro Pereira, which supports several families in the region in situations of economic and social need, through the provision of food, hygiene products, clothing, footwear, toys and furniture. The support can be done directly, with the delivery of articles, or indirectly, with the values acquired in the sale reverting to the social causes supported by CSPSMA.
Buying items in the store, or at the stand next to J.J. Louro, is one way to help the institution. Another valid way is to donate items by depositing them in the blue container next to the store.
