As part of the partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, Elsa Benavente, Director of the Human Resources Development Department of the J.J. Louro Pereira Group, was a member of the jury for the Regional Final of the 20th edition of the Poliempreende competition.
Carried out by the network of National Polytechnic Institutes, Poliempreende is a competition for entrepreneurial projects by students from these educational institutions and aims to promote their entrepreneurial skills.
The Regional Final, part of IPSantarém’s Entrepreneurship Week 2024, took place in the Auditorium of the Santarém School of Management and Technology (ESGTS) on 17 May.
The Regional Final Jury, made up of people from outside the Polytechnic, representatives from CGD – Caixa Geral de Depósitos, NERSANT – Associação Empresarial da Região de Santarém and the J.J. Louro Group, as a partner of the IPSantarém Corporate Network, decided to award the final prize of 5,000 euros to the TRIAGEDIS project.
TRIAGEDIS is a project developed by ESGTS students Tomás Marques and Lea Sina and ESGTS lecturers Filipe Madeira and Filipe Cardoso, which presents a high-impact digital solution with the aim of improving medical care services and medical triage.
Elsa Benavente highlighted the quality of all the projects presented and stressed how proud she was, representing the J.J. Louro Group, to contribute to the selection of the project that will represent IPSantarém at the National Final Session, scheduled for the week of 2-5 September at the University of Madeira.
