J.J. Louro Group will host the 2025 edition of InTER-EDUCA, the Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair organised by the municipality of Santarém. The invitation was made at the 2024 edition, which took place between 16 and 18 April at Casa do Campino.
With a strong presence at this second edition of InTER-EDUCA, Grupo Louro was part of the more than 20 companies with professional and internship offers that were represented at the event, along with the two dozen organisations exhibiting training offers from the municipality of Santarém. As part of InTER-EDUCA, the Group also hosted a visit by ISLA Santarém students to its facilities in Amiais de Cima.
Represented by the Director of the Human Resources Development Department, Elsa Benavente, the Louro Group took part in the round table on “Knowledge Transition”. The panel was moderated by the municipality’s vice-president, João Teixeira Leite, and also included Domingos Martinho, Director of ISLA Santarém; Rogério Palmeiro, Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship, Employability and Alumni Office; Daniela Almeida, President of FAPOESTEJO – Federation of Parents and Guardians Associations of the West, Lezíria Tejo and Médio Tejo Regions; and Francisco Luís, CEO of Mocapor (the host company).
The 2024 edition of InTER-EDUCA had around 10,200 visitors and began with a visit by all the partners to the company Mocapor, based in Pé da Pedreira, in the parish of Alcanede. With the organisation showcasing one of the leading national and international companies based in the municipality of Santarém. Next year the opening honour will be given to the Louro Group.
