We experienced a special moment at the J.J. Louro Group headquarters in Amiais de Cima on 11 April. We gathered to celebrate a milestone in the lives of several of our employees: the beginning of their retirement.
In an atmosphere full of smiles, reunions and stories that marked decades, we honoured those who helped build our Group’s path. Present were the Board of Directors, the Human Resources Development Department (DDRH), the Human Resources Administrative Department, as well as Fernando Silva, representing the managers, to personally convey a message of recognition.
This ceremony, which is already customary in the Group, had an even deeper meaning as it included among the honorees Mrs Isabel Brissos, wife of our founder, Commander Joaquim José Louro Pereira – an essential figure in the origins of what we are today and aspire to be.
A visit to the Group’s showroom was another memorable moment, where former employees could proudly see many of the products they helped to create on display.
The tribute to retiring employees is intended to thank them for their years of dedication and reflects the Group’s philosophy of valuing each stage of their professional lives.
