In a joint initiative of the Administration and the Human Resources Development Department (DDRH), May was Health and Well-Being Month at the J.J. Louro Group.
Throughout the month activities took place at the different production units, carried out free of charge by the companies with which the Group has developed partnerships and protocols.
From various screenings, to gymnastics at work or massages, the aim was to involve employees in activities that contribute towards their health and well-being.
Health and Well-Being Month also included sending out useful information on health and well-being to Employees on a regular basis, such as practical exercises for gymnastics at work or ways of fighting stress. As well as information about the partnerships and protocols established between the Group and various companies (hospitals, beauty centres, gyms, pharmacies, travel agencies), with unique benefits for J.J. Louro employees.
Employee participation was excellent, showing that they are concerned about their health, adopting practices that prevent the onset of some diseases, and their well-being, such as body and mind care, essential for good personal and professional performance.
The initiative took shape with the precious help of the partner companies: Body Concept and Depil Concept, Casa da Amieira, CUF Santarém, ETPR – Escola Técnica e Profissional do Ribatejo, Farmácia Mendonça, Fitness Factory, Hospital da Luz de Oiã and Narest – Sociedade Nacional de Restauração.
And with the invaluable contribution of all the internal departments involved (DDRH, Department of Environment and Safety at Work, and Communication). The Health and Well-Being Month will be replicated in the coming years, always in the month of May.
