The fifth edition of the Louro Group Magazine is already available and is dedicated to the Fight against Waste. We show the areas most sensitive to waste and how we can reduce waste, either through a more rational and optimised use of resources, or through the reuse or transformation of surplus.
To this end, we present some examples of how it is being managed, used and transformed in the Group’s production units. One such example is the production of recycled plastic, explained in an interview with Teresa Santos, chemical engineer, industrial director at Sanplax, Lusocolchão’s plastics unit in Torres Novas.
Under the heading “RH in action” we highlight the Passaporte Liderança training programme, taking place across the Group, which aims to equip middle and senior management with basic leadership skills.
We also have a report on the return, after a five-year interregnum, of Decor Louro. An event made possible with the involvement of Employees, Customers, Suppliers, Partners and Friends.
