At the end of December, a group of 2nd year Human Resources Management students from the European University visited the J.J. Louro Group’s facilities in Amiais de Cima.
The students had the opportunity to visit the Group’s production units and the showroom, where they saw the products produced for the Lourini, Lomm and Lusocolchão brands, but above all they had the chance to question the Human Resources Development Department (DDRH) about how a department of this type works in an industrial environment.The responsibilities, tasks and challenges related to recruitment and selection, reception and integration, training and other issues associated with people management were some of the topics covered.This visit followed the European University’s challenge to the DDRH, as part of the Ethics and Deontology and Training Management subjects. A challenge that reflects the learning model favoured by this institution and which focuses on the active participation of students in the corporate world.
