The construction of the school complex in Vila Nova de Erra, Coruche, was the responsibility of Miraterra.
The equipment, with a total intervention area of over 2000 m2, is part of the requalification of the elementary and pre-school facilities in the municipality.
The work consisted in the requalification and expansion of the Erra Primary School, which now has two Primary School rooms and one Kindergarten room, with a total capacity for about 70 students.
In order to create better conditions of comfort and functionality, the building, an example of Estado Novo architecture, was also equipped with a canteen and pantry.
On the outside, the shed area was demolished to ensure that the school could be extended in an articulated and functional manner on the ground floor. The building grew north and south, with two perpendicular bodies between which a new playground was built.
The school complex was inaugurated on April 24 by the Minister of State and Parliamentary Affairs, Ana Catarina Mendes.
Miraterra was represented by the engineers Paulo Virtudes and João Martins and by Luís Silva, from the financial department.
