Donating 0.5% of your personal income tax to Semear Afetos costs nothing

The Santa Margarida de Abrã Parish Social Centre (CSPSMA), with its Semear Afetos (Sowing Affections) project, is one of the organisations to which 0.5% of personal income tax (IRS) can be donated at no cost to the taxpayer.

To do this, all you have to do when filling in Form 3 of your personal income tax return is put a cross in field 1101, Table 11, under Private Social Solidarity Institutions, and the NIF 503 190 543.

Although the deadline for submitting the IRS 2024 (referring to income from 2023) is 1 April to 30 June, it is possible, until the end of March, to choose the entity to which you wish to consign part of the IRS on the Finance Portal. This choice must then be confirmed in the pre-filled tax return.

The State gives up 0.5 per cent of your personal income tax and sends this percentage, already paid, to the CSPSMA.

Consigning this small percentage of your personal income tax to the CSPSMA means helping to support families, children and the elderly in the region who are economically and socially deprived. This is the work carried out on a daily basis by this Private Social Solidarity Institution founded by Commendator Joaquim José Louro Pereira.
