Culture of care: health and well-being as part of our identity

At the J.J. Louro Group, we believe that taking care of our health is an ongoing commitment, reflected in the choices we make as an organisation. The most recent edition of May – Health and Wellness Month was a concrete expression of this vision, reinforcing the importance of promoting a more balanced and healthy life.

Throughout the initiative, we organised a series of actions designed to raise awareness, inform and involve our employees in a journey of prevention, balance and well-being. Each moment contributed to valuing health in its various dimensions – physical, emotional and social – consolidating an internal culture where caring is part of the Group’s identity.

Among the highlights of this edition, we promoted nutritional screenings, visual screenings, occupational gymnastics, massage sessions, a variety of workshops, from topics such as cybercrime to oral health, and for the first time we carried out hearing screenings. This was an unprecedented initiative that raised awareness of the importance of taking care of hearing as an integral part of well-being and quality of life.

In addition to these activities, there were two particularly memorable events: the 2nd Family Walk, which promoted healthy socialising between employees and their families, and the 1st J.J. Louro Padel Tournament. A celebration of overcoming obstacles and the team spirit that drives us.

The 4th edition once again saw the active involvement of our departments, the dedicated support of our Partners and, above all, the enthusiasm and commitment of our Employees – to whom we extend our sincere thanks.

Initiatives like this reinforce our long-term commitment to a healthier and more sustainable working environment. We will continue to invest in the health and well-being of those who build the future of our Group every day.
