CSPSMA wins award with Integrar+ project

Integrar+, project of Santa Margarida de Abrã Parish Social Centre (CSPSMA), won the 10th edition of the MSD | Maria José Nogueira Pinto Award.

Awarded annually, the MSD | Maria José Nogueira Pinto Award has a monetary value of 10 thousand euros and is attributed by a jury to the project that best corresponds to the concept of “socially responsible in the community where we operate”, defended in its daily practice by Maria José Nogueira Pinto.

The Award, established in 2012 by MSD (leading pharmaceutical innovation company), aims to recognize the work done by individuals or groups of people who have excelled in the field of active social responsibility in Portugal.

Although it has not yet publicly revealed the Integrar+ project, CSPSMA, a Private Social Solidarity Institution driven by Commander Joaquim José Louro Pereira, promises, through the voice of its technical director Nancy Martins, that besides Sowing Affection, it will break poverty cycles by integrating needy families into the labor market.

The award was handed over to the president of CSPSMA’s board, Father Pereira, by Maria Cavaco Silva, on July 6th, in a ceremony at Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon, which was also attended by the President of the Republic Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
