Lomm and Miraterra, two companies from the J.J. Louro Group, worked together on the refurbishment of the auditorium at the Professor Doutor Fernando Fonseca Hospital in Amadora.
The synergy between Lomm and Miraterra resulted in the renovation of the existing space, with the remodelling of the carpet and wooden wall panelling and the installation of a security door, auditorium tables and auditorium chairs.
The choice of chairs fell on the Medusa model. This is a fixed armchair model with a folding seat, blue fabric upholstery and protection on the back and seat in natural-coloured varnished beech with ecological varnish.
The new auditorium is the result of the refurbishment of the original auditorium, built around 30 years ago, and aims to meet the demands of the hospital’s new functions in comfort.
With a greater capacity, which has increased from 130 to 162 seats, the new auditorium is intended mainly for internal training for hospital professionals, but also for training for external organisations, or for organising congresses and conferences.
Currently known as the Amadora/Sintra Local Health Unit (ULS), this institution brings together the Professor Fernando Fonseca Hospital, the future Sintra Proximity Hospital and the Amadora and Sintra Health Centres into a single entity.
With its vast experience and know-how, Lomm once again demonstrated its ability to respond to the specific needs of each client. Presenting personalised solutions designed to guarantee the greatest convenience and functionality, always aligned with quality and comfort.
