Throughout the month of May, the J.J. Louro Group once again organized its Health and Well-Being Month, an initiative focused on promoting the physical, mental, and emotional health of its Employees.
With around 50 initiatives carried out across several company sites and more than 1,400 recorded participations, the programme, now in its 5th edition, once again demonstrated the strong engagement of the teams and the growing importance placed on well-being in the workplace.
Over the course of four weeks, Employees had access to awareness campaigns, health screenings, thematic workshops, physical exercise sessions, and activities focused on prevention, self-care, and the adoption of healthier lifestyles.
Among the most popular initiatives were the health screenings, which attracted more than 430 participants, workplace exercise sessions, with approximately 400 participations, and awareness activities on cardiovascular diseases, involving more than 150 Employees.
This year’s edition also included sessions dedicated to emotional balance, stress management, and workplace well-being, as well as activities such as Pilates, Zumba, multidisciplinary exercise sessions, nutrition workshops, and awareness campaigns on current topics, including artificial intelligence, crime, and cybercrime.
The programme also featured opportunities for social interaction and team bonding, such as Pastry Day, which invited Employees to showcase their own signature recipes, and a workshop led by the Vale do Tejo Vocational School, dedicated to preparing sugar-free desserts. The 2nd Padel Tournament was once again part of the programme, promoting physical activity, team spirit, and healthy competition.
More than a series of individual initiatives, Health and Well-Being Month reflects J.J. Louro’s ongoing commitment to valuing people and creating a healthier, more balanced, and positive working environment.
The J.J. Louro Group would like to thank all Employees for their participation, as well as the contribution of the internal teams and partners who helped make this edition possible, reinforcing health and well-being as fundamental pillars of our organizational culture.
