The rehabilitation of the Largo do Pelourinho, in Vila Nova da Erra, Coruche, was the responsibility of Miraterra.
The works in this central location of the village, used for recreation and leisure and of extreme importance for the local community, as it is the stage for the Erra festivities, consisted in the structuring of the space, giving it greater amplitude and a multifunctional character.
With an intervention area of more than two thousand square metres, the space was delineated in steps, creating an amphitheatre area with concrete benches.
It was also invested in planting trees that will create shade in the area of benches and tables for games that make up the space and to which was added the fountain that was also restored.
A rehabilitation that ended just in time for the Erra Festivities that, this year, start on July 28th and end on August 1st.
In addition to the procession that passes through Rua do Pelourinho, until the Torre Sineira, the Largo da Erra is the stage for cultural and recreational events that mark a whole week of festivities.
