The Passaporte Liderança® training plan, which has been running at the J.J. Louro Group since 2023 and is dedicated to production managers and middle managers, reached an important milestone last March with the trainees’ visit to Volkswagen Autoeuropa’s manufacturing facilities in Palmela.
During the training, ATEC, an academy that was born out of the initiative and commitment of three multinationals, Volkswagen Autoeuropa, Siemens, Bosch, and the Luso-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to respond to the industry’s specific qualification needs and the need to combine theoretical training with a strong practical component, presented various examples implemented at Autoeuropa.
“It therefore made perfect sense for ATEC to invite us on this visit, so that we could see these good practices for sharing knowledge and learning on the ground,” emphasised Elsa Benavente, Director of the Human Resources Department at the J.J. Louro Group, who accompanied the visit.
Designed by ATEC and fully adapted to the needs of the J.J. Louro Group companies, the Passaporte Liderança® is a long-term modular programme for production and middle management positions.
With two main areas of activity: personal development and continuous improvement, Passaporte Liderança® aims to equip participants with basic leadership skills, coordination and effective management of tasks and teams.
Also in 2024, the Passaporte Liderança® will train four more groups of ten people each, to reach a total of 80 trainees from the various production units of the J.J. Louro Group.
